This is a fictional account based on actual events of the horrible murder of a young girl in a small Ontario town in the 1890's. We follow the young detective through all stages of his investigation compiling the evidence and coming to conclusions based on them. All characters with the exception of the detective are real and the author has gone to great lengths to portray they as accurately as possible.
