Walter Franchelly is happily retired. His kids grown up, he has begun traveling, and falling in love with his wife all over again. After a hard career, it seems Walter is finally seeing the fruits of his labor. The only problem is; Walter can't help but feel off. His mind becoming foggy, he finds himself often forgetting things. At first he attributes it to old age. Yet, his ailment rapidly claiming him, it is apparent that his memory loss is serious. With normal treatment not working, Walter's family looks to an experimental treatment center in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Using a special drug, the center gives patients full control over their dreams, and where they go. The patients can explore their memories, reliving them a second time. In doing so, they start remembering their past, and become aware of their identity. The treatment is not FDA approved. And with little known about the safety, a decision has to be made. How far is Walter willing to go to remember?.
