Lucille Williams has been working with couples and families for over 20 years. Her background of service has led her home church to commission and certify her as an individual who has been called to ministry. While greatly involved in ministry with her husband--the children's pastor at Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch, California, a mega-church with over 10,000 members--she also speaks at retreats, classes, and conferences. Williams also works with high school students, mentoring young girls as part of Shepherd's high school ministry. As a trained Prepare/Enrich Marriage facilitator, she frequently conducts pre-marital and marital counseling, in addition to mentoring countless young women and men. Williams is also employed at Shepherd Church as the family theatre director. With her church based in Los Angeles, she directs and coaches professional actors such as Vernee Watson, best known for her role on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air;" Nakia Burrise, a series regular on the TV show "Hart of Dixi," and a power ranger on the show "Power Rangers;" and Dana Michael Woods, who is currently on the TV show "Sid the Science Kid." Her position requires developing a creative and engaging show, directing a large team in producing a weekly production attended by thousands yearly.
In addition to working with children and families, she has been featured as a highlighted speaker for a video-teaching series seen by thousands. One of her speaking engagements was for Destiny Leader Online, a Web conference hosted by Dream of Destiny for leaders all over the nation. Teaming up with her husband, they developed a marriage ministry, which includes mentoring programs and marriage events at their home church. Through her many years of serving others, Williams has spoken at conferences, Bible studies, Sunday school classes, and large-formatted church events for adults and children. On an even larger scale, she has been a key speaker for Vacation Bible Schools, Kids' Revivals, marriage events, and women's retreats, all ranging into the hundreds in attendance. Williams is proudest of her marriage to Mike for more than 32 years and the raising of their three children. She enjoys working in ministry alongside her husband and has an intense passion for ministering to families and young people.
