Paul Williamson is the father of 11 children and the grandfather of 19. He and his wife, Anne, have been together since highschool. Lifelong Catholics, they have been involved in youth ministry and adult religious education since 1977. Though they don't have degrees in psychology or counseling, they have learned much in both of these fields. This education has been garnered while raising their family. The school of life has been our tutor. And a faith in God has been their guide. Learning of their son's drug addiction came as a great shock to them.

This battle for his life necessitated the use of all of their faculties. Denial, heartbreak and shame had to give way to realization, hope and openness. This experience has led them to become advocates for the addicted. The tumultuous journey through drug addiction served to open a new chapter in their lives.
