Peter Lamborn Wilson is a political writer, essayist and poet. He is responsible for proposing the concept of the Temporary Autonomous Zone (TAZ). He sometimes writes under the name Hakim Bey. Recent books include: Gothick Institutions (2005), Orgies of the Hemp Eaters (2004)-co-edited as Hakim Bey with Abel Zug, and Sacred Drifts: Essays on the Margins of Islam (1993).
