Delight Drizzled Days is a devotional about living life to the fullest in 3D with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, walking by faith, encouraged by hope and delighting in love. A one-dimensional life is like watching a TV commercial about your favorite food. You can see it, but you can't taste it so it just makes you drool. God wants us to experience life-and even our foods-with all of our senses. Sometimes we just need to ask for his help so that we can more fully taste and see his goodness during hassles and hardships. A 3D life is scrumptious and exhilarating. Jesus himself said he came that we would have not just life but life more abundantly. This was his mission statement and it's what you can expect from these devotions.

While the black words on this white page are constrained to one-dimension, they are based on God's Word, which leads us into a multi-dimensional life bursting with color and flavor. A 3D life is a BIG life that gives God glory, knowing that it is through his mighty power that we accomplish infinitely more than we ever imagined. The delight that God gives you and me is so much richer than our favorite foods. Delight is God's idea. In fact, the verse that inspired the title of this book, is found in the book of Psalms. It shouts across the ages:Take delight in the Lord and He will give you your heart's desires.It's easy to focus on the last line (the promise) ignoring the first line (the instruction). We delight in yummy foods.

We delight in feeling loved. No one needs to teach us how to delight in those things because they're naturally delightful. But how do we "Take delight in the Lord"? If you're like me, sometimes you get stuck when it comes to the Bible. But God doesn't want us to overcomplicate delighting in him. He wants to be invited into our lives as we enjoy his gifts¿enjoy his creation and¿enjoy good food with friends. He made them all for us!.
