She gave up freelancing full time when she was offered a job editing an in-house magazine, her Market Index column with Writers' News was axed, she lost her lovely dog of 17 years, and it was the year she realised she had to leave her husband. And she started blogging. Following a shift from Blogger to WordPress, today the blog has over 1,000 followers and, despite the rise of Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites and the demise of hundreds of other blogs along the way, Diane's blog is still going strong.
