With an easy-to-follow format, 2006: A Book of Grace-Filled Days adapts the church's lectionary- the collection of daily liturgical readings-to guide readers through a year of meditation on Scripture. Following both the church year and the calendar year, the book can be used either as a page-a-day calendar book or as a guide to the liturgical readings in the church calendar. Each page offers a Scripture quotation from the day's lectionary readings, a brief meditation to spur comtemplation and spiritual exploration, and a complete list of the daily readings.
