Cindy Wume lives and works in Taiwan and is a graduate of the prestigious Anglia Ruskin MA in Illustration. Her first book, The Best Sound in the World , was published by Frances Lincoln in 2018 and was shortlisted for the Klaus Flugge prize. Cindy is passionate about drawing and uses gouache, ink, dip pens and coloured pencils to create her vibrant illustrations, which are regularly featured in Chinese and Taiwanese magazines. Cindy was also part of the visiting contingent of Taiwanese illustrators at Bologna this year and one of their highlighted illustrators in the Bologna Showcase 2018.
