Little is known about Joseph Xand. What is known are the things of myth. He wanted to be a famous writer, mostly of horror novels, although his interests ranged into science fiction, young adult, westerns, and more. He struggled to make a living at it.In the early 1980s, Joseph Xand packed up a few things, including his typewriter, and headed off into the wilderness of Southeast Oklahoma on a spiritual journey to find himself. He was never seen again.Occasionally, his writings emerge from the ether (sometimes handwritten, sometimes typed), and we do what we can to polish and publish them.The locals sometimes refer to that area of Oklahoma where he disappeared as Xandland.
