Bob is a retired teacher, advertising copywriter and documentary filmmaker. Today he lives in northwest Washington State with his wife, Ann (and Smokey the cat), where he writes children's books, poems and plays for children and adults, including musical comedies. His plays have been performed Off-Broadway and he published a book for high school students and teachers, 'Rap-Notes: Shakespeare's Greatest Hits,' where he rapped the stories of five of Shakespeare's most popular plays. He also recoreded five audios to help students and teachers enjoy the work even more. In addition, in 2020, he completed work on his rap-musical, 'Bardolatry!' which includes songs about Shakespeare's difficulties as a young writer, husband, and father. He also won a Bronze American Film Festival Award for a documentary film on a woman artist.
