Bob Zaslow, known as 'Mr. Z' to his students in the Bronx, writes children's books, poems, and plays. His play 'You Were Awesome!' was published in the anthology, "The Best New Ten-Minute Plays, 2019," and his book aimed at high school students, 'Rap-Notes: Shakespeare's Greatest Hits," is a hit with English teachers who want to take the fear out of Shakespeare. He also wrote the book to the FringeNYC Festival musical, 'The Seed of Abraham.' Today he lives in Washington State with his wife, Ann, and cat, Smokey, where he writes, gardens, and paddles his kayak.
