Camilla de la Bedoyere has been writing for nearly 30 years and has more than 250 books in print around the world. She is one of UK libraries' most borrowed authors, with up to 120,000 loans a year, and her books are sold worldwide with at least 400 English-language editions alone. Most of Camilla's books are non-fiction and focus on the natural world, but she writes on many subjects and for both children and adults. In addition to writing books under her own name, Camilla also works as an editor/consultant/ghost writer. This work involves checking, amending, updating and occasionally rewriting other authors' texts; she has been behind several top-selling books that have appeared under the names of others, such as celebrity adventurers and young naturalists.
