100 Days in Africa is the sixth instalment of the ten-part series, 'The Tales of a Thousand Adventures'. Each book tells the story of the 100-day journey in that region of the world.This journey is the most challenging and ambitious trip I've ever undertaken. For the first time, I was not alone starting this endeavour. Being so far from home, companionship became invaluable. We travelled from the south of Africa across the southern deserts from the west coast to the east, passed through the world's equatorial green belt and on to Saharan Africa.The three- month journey took us to twelve countries, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, and Egypt. We began in the familiar Cape Town, from there we left the beaten track into the heart of the 'Dark Continent'.
