His major publications include "From Extraterritoriality to Extraterritorial Regulation: A Jurisdiction Theory Perspective", "Early English Translations of Chinese Legal Terms: A Study Based on Robert Morrison's Wuche yunfu" and "A Re-translation and Study of the Treaty of Nanking". He also published some sensational translations and monographs including the Unequal Treaties and Non-equivalent Translations and Research from Dictionaries: Translation History of Legal Terms in China and China's Entrance into the Family of Nations (Chinese edition). Zhan Jixu, Master of Translation of Shanghai International Studies University, Ph.D in Law and Assistant Research of East China University of Political Science and Law. His research areas include legal translation and history of international law.


He has published articles and translations in Journal of East China University of Political Science and Law, Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, Legal Method and others. He has also been engaged in legal translation for nearly ten years.
