Theodore V. De Beritto, MD, FAAP is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology & Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He serves as the medical director of the UCLA Newborn Nurseries and is the Assistant CME Editor for NeoReviews . He is passionate about medical education and involved in the UCLA Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program. His clinical interests include neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and the care of surgical infants. Henry C. Lee, MD, FAAP is Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology) at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He is a consultant to the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics in the area of resuscitation science, most recently serving as the Associate Editor of the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation , 9th Edition.


He serves as Medical Director of the NICU at UCSD Jacobs Medical Center. Dara Brodsky, MD, FAAP is a neonatologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), an Associate Director of the BIDMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Director of Education in the BIDMC Department of Neonatology, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She has co-authored/co-edited 11 books to assist neonatology fellows, and pediatric residents with board review. The most well-read of these books is Neonatology Review, a 5-volume series to assist with neonatal-perinatal medicine certification. She served as an editorial board member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)-sponsored online NeoReviewsPlus and currently is editor-in-chief of the AAP-online journal NeoReviews . Santina A. Zanelli, MD, FAAP is a Professor in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Virginia (UVa), where she is the Co-Director of the UVa Neuro-NICU program. Dr Zanelli is particularly interested in neurological disorders of the newborn, outcomes and family centered care.


Her most recent research focus is centered on early detection of cerebral palsy using machine learning and vital sign analytics techniques as well as studying links between the sensory environment of the NICU and risk of abnormal social behavioral development.
