Author and Therapy Developer Born August 3, 1944, Gabriele Mayer brings decades of experience in occupational therapy, research, and concept development. Trained between 1982-1985 in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, she began her career at Parkstift St. Ulrich in Bad Krozingen, where for seven years she supported a senior community of 250 residents. In 1992, she pioneered a "mobile occupational therapy model", bridging clinical and home-based rehabilitation to enable patients to remain longer in their home environment.
