Philippa B. Cranwell is the founder of ConstaChem. Formerly an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Reading, she brings nearly two decades of academic and industry experience. Her research interests are within the field of organic chemistry, particularly in relation to the development of new reactions suitable for undergraduate students and the use and importance of language when discussing and teaching complex scientific concepts. Laurence M. Harwood is Professor Emeritus at Reading University. He is currently Chief Scientific Advisor of Bead Biopharma and Visiting Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Lincoln. His research interests range from natural product synthesis, through synthetic methodology, to synthesizing metalselective ligands for use in nuclear waste treatment.
His work has produced over 250 research publications, articles and patents. Christopher J. Moody is Professor Emeritus, School of Chemistry, University of Nottingham. In 2022, he co-founded Alevin Therapeutics, a University of Nottingham spin-out company aiming to develop safe and effective medicines for patients with fibrotic disease. His research interests range across organic chemistry, with a focus on the synthesis of biologically active molecules, particularly heterocyclic compounds and quinones. His work is reported in over 450 publications and patents.
