Dr Radmila Topalovic is an Astronomy Programmes Officer at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. She holds a PhD in space dust and works on developing and delivering astronomy education and public engagement initiatives. Dr Dominic Ford is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge, where he works on the European Space Agency's PLATO mission. He previously led the development of data analysis software for spectroscopic surveys of the Milky Way at Lund Observatory in Sweden. Alongside his academic research, Dominic has been deeply involved in science communication and amateur astronomy. He founded In-The-Sky.org, an online guide to what is visible in the night sky, tailored to a user's precise location. He also managed the British Astronomical Association's website and created an online image archive now containing more than 80,000 night-sky images.

In 2022, he was awarded the British Astronomical Association's Horace Dall Medal for his contributions to software development for amateur astronomers. The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the World, marking the official starting point for each new day and year. It is also home to London's only planetarium, the historic Harrison timekeepers and the UK's largest refracting telescope. The Observatory runs the internationally renowned Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition.
