He is a member of the Artificial Intelligence Reference Group at the Office of the Prime Minister's Chief Science Advisor, an Evaluator at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and a Delegate of the College of Assessors at Royal Society Te Aparangi. He holds various key positions at Auckland University of Technology and is a recognized expert in Architectural Engineering, Green Building, and Smart Cities.
