Dr. Wole Akpose holds a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. School of Engineering at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland and a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Benin in Benin City, Edo State. In the course of his professional career, Wole held certifications in Microsoft Servers (MCP), Cisco Networking (CCNA), Information Systems Security (CISSP), IT Governance (CGEIT), Lean and Six Sigma. He also held several other workshops and short term training based leadership, management and technology certificates. A trained Malcolm Baldrige Examiner, Wole was privileged to serve in several roles in organizational improvement, governance, executive leadership, trainer and overall corporate consultant.
He also held several operational roles in network, security, database, infrastructure, applications development, sales and marketing and venture startup. Wole is a poet, publishing his first collection in 2017 and his first novel in 2025. A survivor of kidney failure, which he still lives with, Wole is known to share stories about his journey on his Substack site under the name Dew Akpose.
