Dr. Ajay Kumar is currently working as visiting scientist in Agriculture Research Organization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Volcani center, Rishon, Lezziyon, Israel. Dr. Kumar completed his doctoral research from Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. In his nine years of research, he has published more than fifty five research articles and book chapters in the International and National journals of repute. Potential of his research is evidenced by high quality publications in journals like Journal of Environment management, Agriculture Ecosystem Ecology, Biodiversity and Conservation, 3 Biotech, World Journal of Microbiology & Biotechnology, , Annals of Microbiology, Journal of Herbal Medicine, Biotechnology reports etc. He has wide area of research, especially in Plant-microbe interactions, endophytes related with the medicinal plants, microbial inoculants. He has already edited some book with "Elsevier publisher" like "PGPR amelioration in Sustainable agriculture" and "Climate Change and Agriculture System" and some are under the production.

Dr. Kumar is lifetime member of Asian Society of PGPR, Quarterly Franklin Membership" by London Journal Press. In addition, he is member in the editorial committee of "International Journal of Current Microbiology and Applied Sciences" and "Journal of Plant Science and Agriculture Research. He is also act as reviewer in some highlighted journals like PLOS ONE, Agriculture, Ecosystem and Environment, Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, 3Biotech etc.
