Professor Khan is the recipient of the Distinguished Researcher in Tribology Award, Excellence in Education in Sustainable Development Award, Albert Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, Doctoral College Outstanding Contribution Award and Vice Chancellor staff awards in enriching society and advancing knowledge. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA) UK. He is the editorial board member of several high-ranking journals. M.

S. Charoo (PhD) is Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Srinagar (J&K) India. Professor Charoo has over more than twenty-five years of teaching experience both at postgraduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of lubrication, Design and Tribology. A lifetime member of the Tribology society of India, he has co-authored over 75 research articles in international journals and conference proceedings of high repute. Professor Charoo has supervised four PhD scholars along with numerous MTech dissertations. He is on the reviewer panel of many international journals. Pranav Dev Srivyas holds a Ph.D.

in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar, with a specialization in tribology, focusing on self-lubricating composites and nano-lubrication. He further advanced his research career through a post-doctoral fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, where he explored smart fluids and metamaterials. With a unique blend of academic and industrial experience, Dr. Srivyas is currently associated with Ind-Sphinx Precision Ltd. (Axis Tools), a leading manufacturer in the cutting tool industry. His multidisciplinary research interests span surface engineering, coating technologies, smart fluids, composite materials, laser texturing, and advanced cutting tools. Dr. Srivyas has contributed extensively to the field through numerous publications in reputed international SCI journals, establishing himself as a dedicated researcher and innovator in mechanical and materials engineering.

Tanmoy Medhi is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Tezpur University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Agartala, where his research focused on friction stir welding of dissimilar Al-Cu joints. With a strong foundation in welding science, solid-state additive manufacturing, and hybrid manufacturing processes, Dr. Medhi has contributed extensively to both academic research and industrial applications. He also carried out independent research in the area of bio-lubrication and sustainable manufacturing while working as Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Dr.

Medhi has led and collaborated on funded projects with agencies such as SERB, ISRO, DST, and Shree Cement Limited. He holds a patent on an innovative induction heating-assisted friction stir welding technique and serves as Academic Editor for journals like Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio) and Journal of Engineering (Hindawi). His academic excellence is further reflected by awards like the M.Tech Gold Medal and the prestigious National Post-Doctoral Fellowship from SERB. Actively involved in academic development, he has coordinated workshops and short-term training programs for defense and industry stakeholders. Dr. Medhi is also a professional member of the Indian Welding Society and the Institution of Engineers India.
