Estu Nugroho (Edited By) Estu Nugroho obtained a bachelor's degree in Fisheries from Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1988, a master's degree in 1998 from Kochi University, Japan, and a doctoral degree in 2001 from Tohoku University, Japan. In 2021, he was awarded the title of Research Professor. Currently, he serves as a principal researcher at the Research Center for Freshwater Aquaculture under the Agriculture and Food Research Organization - National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. He has published numerous books, articles, and collections, including works on DNA markers for broodstock management, aquaculture, agribusiness, aquaponic systems for fish and vegetable cultivation, tilapia, catfish, and the application of genetics in freshwater fish breeding. Nunuk Listiyowati (Edited By) Nunuk Listiyowati received a bachelor's degree in Fisheries from Diponegoro University (UNDIP) in 2004 and a master's degree in Aquaculture from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University) in 2016. Since 2022, she has been a junior researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), at the Fisheries Research Center under the Earth and Maritime Research Organization, as part of the Fish Domestication and Breeding Research Group. In 2025, she joined the Finfish Research Group at the Research Center for Freshwater Aquaculture under the Agriculture and Food Research Organization - National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Her current research focuses on aquaculture and fish breeding, and she has published numerous articles in national and international scientific journals, conference proceedings, and books.
In 2012, she received an award as a breeder of superior tilapia "Srikandi." Another innovation was realized through the release of the superior gourami strain "Bima" in 2021.
