Dr. Luis Montoro is Professor Emeritus of Road Safety at the University of Valencia. He is a Past Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at this university and was a founding member and director of the University Institute of Traffic and Road Safety Additionally, he served as Past President and is currently President of Honor of the Spanish Foundation for Road Safety. With more than 45 years of experience as a professor, he has specialized in road safety, particularly in human factors. He has authored over 80 publications in indexed journals, published more than 35 books on road safety, and directed over 250 research projects on the subject. His outreach efforts include more than 500 appearances on European television and over 10,000 mentions in newspapers. Useche is an Assistant Professor at the University of Valencia and a member of the Traffic and Road Safety Research Institute (INTRAS). He has over 15 years of experience as a researcher and more than 120 indexed publications covering various aspects of road safety, including sustainability, the human factor, and user behavior analysis in traffic environments. He is currently a member of the editorial board of Transportation Research Part F: Psychology and Behavior (Elsevier) and serves as an editor for several journals published by Elsevier and other editorial groups.
