2nd book on the fighting art of Uechi-ryu Karate by Karate pionere George E. Mattson. Published initially in 1994 by Peabody Publishing Co, which is now G & S Consulting. The book was printed 9 times, the last printing was in 1997. The book is now highly collectable and very expensive, based on condition. The book documents the history of Uechi-ryu as verbally explained to George Mattson during his two years spent in Okinawa as a USA Army soldier. Mattson is alive and actively teaching Uechi-ryu virtually from his home in Lake Mary Florida (2026) At the age of 88, Mattson has published five martial art books and completing his sixth book, which should be published on Amazon in January, 2026.
