Francisco M. Sánchez-Margallo is a PhD in Veterinary Science from the University of Extremadura and the Scientific Director at the Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre in Ca´ceres, in Spain. He has directed over 650 training activities related to minimally invasive surgery, including national and international training courses for surgeons and health professionals. He has written more than 240 scientific articles with Impact Factor and more than 150 academic articles related to minimally invasive surgery and other surgeries. Dr. Sánchez-Margallo is the author of 25 books and co-author of 49 book chapters. He has presented 254 scientific posters, more than 600 oral communications and a number of lectures at National and International Congresses. He is reviewer of several scientific journals; has directed 34 doctoral theses, has participated in 100 research projects granted by public and private entities, and is a member of several scientific committees of a number of symposiums and conferences.
