This study seeks to integrate the cultural, social, and demographic trends behind the recent plethora of films for children with a Latino/a content. The author argues that the growth of the Latino/a population in the U.S. and its relative youth suggest that children's entertainment will play a decisive role in configuring societal perceptions and Latino/a identities in the future.
