Princesa is a Mexican girl living her best teenage life. She is the baby, the only girl and no one loves her more than her daddy. She lives her life to make her parents proud in all the ways she can and one thing that would break her father's heart is if she didn't find a Mexican man to date. In a crazy turn of events she waits until her senior year to try and date someone and it just so happens, the date goes well. She lies to him about where she lives because he can't come to her house. He shows up to a neighbor's house early nearly messing up her lie and Princesa is mortified, maybe lying isn't a good thing. But the date was fun, it was the best time she had ever had and so it begins. Princesa starts dating someone that will break her father's heart because he's not Mexican.

But eventually, Princesa decides it is time. Her and her boyfriend who is White decide to tell their parents about the other. Peter's mother thinks a lot like Princesa's father but on this day¿ love wins. The teenagers decide that prom is the best time to bring the two families together and Princesa is excited for the coming together of their parents and brothers to see them off. This is a fun story that reminds us that people are people and the best stories are when love, no matter what it looks like, wins!.
