Mandara Cromwell, DCM, CEO Cyma Technologies. Mandara is an entrepreneur, researcher, inventor and author. She studied the original cymatic therapy with British osteopath, Peter Guy Manners, and was awarded the Diplomat of Cymatic Bioenergetic Medicine at Bretforton Hall Clinic in the UK. She later received her doctorate of Cymatic Medicine through Medicina Alternative in 2004. Dr. Cromwell coined the term "Cymatherapy" to distinguish between "cymatics," the study of wave phenomena, and the therapeutic application of specific sound frequencies to the body. A long--time proponent of sound as a healing modality, she has made it her life's work to take Dr. Manners' efforts to greater heights through ongoing research, education and collaboration.

She holds a BA in Art History, which inspired her to seek studies in eastern philosophy, through extended travels to India and China. This allowed for further investigation into the ancient teachings of Ayurveda and Chinese medicine, culminating in the innovation of the AMI-Acoustic Meridian Intelligence devices and concept. Since 2011, the AMI devices have been manufactured by her company, Cyma Technologies, in order to preserve the integrity of the specific healing frequency patterns. The invention of her first AMI device resulted in a nomination for the Thomas Edison Award in 2013 for innovation in the fields of science and medicine. Mandara is the author of SOUNDFLOWER: THE JOURNEY TO MARRY SCIENCE AND SPIRIT, the story of how sound discoveries have influenced her personal journey throughout her life. She continues to research and develop the many applications of therapeutic sound--to include products using cymatics--the science of making sound visible. Her invention of the "Soundflower Experience" created a new sound--visual phenomenon using the imprints of healing frequencies to inspire and cultivate vibrant health and longevity. With her many endeavors, she still finds time to enjoy the beauty of the natural world, the pleasures of home and her three grandchildren, with whom she hopes to share the wisdom of her many life experiences.
