Kathy Eldon is an award-winning filmmaker, author, journalist and founder of Creative Visions, a global hub for creative activism that has impacted over 100 million people through storytelling and media-driven social change. Inspired by her son, Dan Eldon, a Reuters photojournalist killed in Somalia at 22, Kathy turned personal tragedy into a movement, empowering changemakers to use art, media, and storytelling to ignite positive impact. Her foundation has incubated over 400 projects and productions, and Creative Visions is recognized as a United Nations NGO.
