Author Biography Dr. Tarence E. Lauchié, Ed.D., is a leadership development consultant, seasoned pastor, educator, and public speaker with more than thirty-five years of experience equipping individuals, families, churches, and organizations for purposeful growth. He has served as Senior Pastor of Grace for the Nations Church since 2002, where his ministry is marked by biblical depth, strategic leadership, and a strong commitment to spiritual formation and community impact. Dr. Lauchié holds academic degrees from Michigan State University, Ashland Theological Seminary, and Cornerstone University, where he earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership Development.

His doctoral research examined self-efficacy, perceived success, and the lived experiences of adult Black males who have experienced fatherlessness-research that continues to inform his teaching, writing, and advocacy around leadership identity, fatherhood, and generational legacy. He is the founder of T. Lauchié & Associates, The Growth Center Inc., and The Growth Exchange Podcast, through which he delivers leadership training, professional development, and strategic consulting across ministry, nonprofit, educational, and corporate settings, both nationally and internationally. His work focuses on maximizing God-given potential, cultivating character-driven leadership, and aligning personal growth with purpose. Dr. Lauchié also serves as an adjunct professor and is a frequent conference speaker, widely respected for his ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity, compassion, and practical application. Through his teaching and writing, he seeks to equip leaders to break generational cycles, steward influence wisely, and leave enduring legacies rooted in faith, integrity, and hope.
