Dr. Thomas Muehlberger studied literature and medicine in Munich and Berlin (Germany), and Boston, Massachusetts (USA). He completed his surgical training at the University of Oxford and Cambridge and pursued plastic surgery training at John Hopkins University, Baltimore (USA). In total, he spent 15 years in the USA. Dr. Muehlberger is currently a consultant plastic surgeon at the Humboldt University Berlin and Associate Professor for plastic surgery at the Hannover Medical School, Germany. He has authored more than 50 scientific publications and is a member of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr.

Muehlberger was the first to bring "migraine surgery" to Europe, opening Berlin's first Migraine Surgery Center in 2006. He has operated on more then 700 migraine paients to date. Heading his own company, Migraine Surgery Center, he operates on patients in partner clinics in Berlin, Munich and Dsseldorf. He also regularly visits the UK to work from a plastic surgery clinic in London.
