New Jersey native Thomas C. Haunton has been a collector and historian of South Jersey glass since 1981. He is the author of three books; Last Links to the Past 20th Century South Jersey Glass, Volume 1, Tippecanoe and E. G. Booz Too!, and Stories of South Jersey Glass. Mr. Haunton has also written dozens of articles about South Jersey and other collectible glass. Mr.


Haunton has been a guest speaker for the National American Glass Club chapters in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Sandwich, MA, as well as numerous museums, historical societies, and glass collecting organizations throughout the Northeast. He assisted with the 1987 Clevenger Brothers Glass Works The Persistence of Tradition exhibition and catalog by the Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village in Millville, New Jersey. In 1992, Mr. Haunton presented a six-month long exhibition, The Colorful Clevengers, at the Gloucester County Historical Society in Woodbury, New Jersey, also designing and writing the accompanying catalog. Mr. Haunton wrote the quarterly column Jerseyana Corner for Antique Bottle and Glass Collector Magazine from 2011 to 2015. He was a featured presenter at the 2013 Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors Show in Manchester, New Hampshire. Aside from his interest in American glass, Mr.


Haunton is a retired professional French horn player and teacher. He toured throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, and New Zealand as a member of the Boston Pops and other ensembles. Mr. Haunton is also the author of several books in the music field and has been a member of the music faculties of Amherst, Smith, and Dartmouth colleges. He resides in Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
