AUTHOR: Wendy Scalzo has studied and collected Mexican folk art and dolls for over 25 years. She earned a college degree at the Universidad de las Americas in Cholula, Puebla, just east of Mexico City. There she discovered the costume dolls, primarily from the love of their clothing, which prompted her concentration in this speciality field.
