The introduction sets the scene well with a broad overview of history. The interviews worked well to frame each artist's viewpoint. The writing was clear and allowed for details and broader thinking / relationships. The text was confident and question-seeking so the interviews were fruitful. The images are striking and showcase varied examples and exhibition contexts. The book is a beautiful object, and the overall presentation is clean and purposeful to highlight the art. Fair price point for individuals to buy. I'd recommend the book to students / colleagues as a useful internationally relevant resource and can see how this will fit in to support my own teaching.
