Born in Las Vegas, designer Nicholas Kniel lived in -Germany and Michigan before moving to Atlanta. -After earning a bachelor's degree in fashion design from the American College, Nicholas designed couture evening and wedding gowns.


He also created visual displays for large companies and couture boutiques. Nicholas and his boutique, Nicholas Kniel-Fine Ribbons & Embellishments, have been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, Country Living magazine, Town and Country Weddings, Southern Lady magazine, and on the Today show. Artist and poet Timothy Wright is a paper- and ribbon-aholic who collects vintage ephemera, antique photographs, books, and myriad other objects that lead to design inspiration. In addition to having poems published in a number of magazines, his paintings have been exhibited publicly and in private collections. He lives in Atlanta. Nicholas Kniel-Fine Ribbons & Embellishments is an intimate boutique in Atlanta, Georgia, offering vintage and couture adornments since its opening in 2000.
