Melody Brunsting is an author and an artist. She began writing poetry and plays as a child. Over the years, she discovered she also had a talent for cartoons and palette knife oil paintings. She has self-published several booklets: "Sliding through Hell on an Ice Cube" (poetry) and self-help books for medical procedures. More recently, she decided to focus on stories that she could illustrate. She has two books on Amazon, "Norm the Normal Dog" and "Franger Chicken, the Time-Traveling Flowl." Yes, she likes talking animals. "Norm the Normal Dog "is a series of three children's books where Norm speaks in rhyme.

Volume I - "Norm the Normal Dog That Was Afraid of Thunder", published in 2023, tells how Norm was abandoned and then found a forever home his forever buddy Katie. "Norm the Normal Dog - The Case of the Missing Socks" is just that! He is on a mission to find all of his Dad's missing socks. While hunting socks, he discovers static electricity and sock-gobbling clothes dryers.
