Deborah Wall and Dennis Boulton, outdoor writers and photographers, focus their work on the Southwestern United States. The pair has logged tens of thousands of miles seeking the most interesting and scenic destinations for those who have limited mobility but still want to visit some of the stunning places our region affords. They have personally visited, diligently documented, and beautifully photographed every destination in this book, all from the viewpoint of those with limited mobility. The book includes details on the trails, overlooks, campgrounds, parking, bathrooms and lodging. Wall wrote Base Camp Las Vegas: Hiking the Southwestern States and Great Hikes, both published by Stephens Press. She writes an outdoor column in the View Community Newspapers and Boulder City Review. Wall is a former television news anchor, competitive skier, and sailor. Boulton has a B.
S. in geology and an M.S. in education. Besides teaching, Boulton has been a competitive marathon runner, a backpacking guide in the Grand Canyon, and a whitewater rafting guide.
