He writes and illustrates his own fiction for young readers, including the Agent Weasel animal superspy books and the new Squirrel Shady series, due for publication in 2026. Alongside this, Nick continues to develop stories across children's fiction and picture books, withplayful humor and a character-led approach.

Previously, Nick worked as a museum and exhibition designer, and now lives near York with his wife, two children, and their dog, Herbie.
