Elle Caraway , who also writes under the name Leslie Kimmelman, is the author of more than fifty books for children, both fiction and nonfiction. She was a children's book editor for many years, including almost twenty-five years at Sesame Workshop. She is the author of We're Amazing, 1, 2, 3, A Story About Friendship and Autism, the book that first introduced Sesame Street 's Julia. Leslie lives just outside New York City and--shhh!--is extremely ticklish. Barry Goldberg has illustrated more than 200 picture books mostly based on popular children's characters from Sesame Street , the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, and the Henson Company. He lives on Long Island, New York, with his wife, who is a public school teacher. They have three grown children.
