Wallace Edwards was a beloved children's author and illustrator whose vivid imagination had transformed the world of animals and strange creatures for a generation of children. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Wallace was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art, and his work can be found in numerous public and private collections. He was a popular guest speaker at conferences, literary events, schools and libraries, and he visited school classrooms across the country. Wallace's work excites the senses and is completely original in its approach, setting him apart from so many in his field.
