Peculiar Wilderness : A Chicago Alphabet
Keith Lewis is an English teacher who has spent over twenty years in classrooms across Chicago. He owns Bookie's Bookstore in Beverly and serves as founder and Executive Director of FAIR Fund Chicago, a nonprofit providing book fair vouchers to low-income students. Peculiar Wilderness is the debut title from his publishing imprint, Broken Nose Books. He lives on the South Side with his wife, son, daughter, a pit bull mix named Cricket, three cats, and two tarantulas.
