CHRISTOPHER REED JOHNSON (1980 - ) is the current Caliph and Headof the Cornelius-McMurtry-Johnson A.'.A.'. At the age of 18 he joined"Solve-et-Coagula" Camp of the Ordo Templi Orientis and has nowbeen a practitioner of Crowley's system of Magick for more than 25years. Long story short, many synchronicities revealed themselves tohim during this time-most importantly, that he lived only one floordown from the newly formed Camp with which he shared the same loftapartment building. Thus, it came to pass that he took his MinervalInitiation on November 6, 1998. Additionally, he had been followingthe A.

'.A.'. Student curriculum and exactly one year later, in 1998, heself-signed the Probationer Oath. After working on completing theprerequisites outlined by Crowley over the next 12 months, he thenproceeded to sign his Neophyte Oath in 1999. Approximately 20 yearslater he officially became an active part of the McMurtry-CorneliusA.'.A.

'., soon after taking P.I. and subsequently the Oath of the Abyss(5/23/23 at 3:33 AM). Before his death, J. Edward would giveChristopher the black rock that Grady had given him after he had takenthe Oath, saying, "This is your path¿. Don't trip over this". A skilledpractitioner of Vipassana meditation, he was invited to become an Assistant Teacher in that tradition.

Additionally, he holds a postgraduatedegree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. He is alsothe co-author of a chapter that analyzes Jacques Lacan's "Seminar on'The Purloined Letter'" in Reading Lacan's Écrits, which was publishedby Routledge on February 23, 2024. Currently, he runs "The Royal andthe Lofty Clerk House" from his private residence in Atlanta, Georgia.
