Clifton Brusso, 91, was born in Laurium, Michigan, where he now resides. He is of literary blood, being a direct descendant of the great French author Alexandre Dumas, creator of many adventure classics such as "The Count of Monte Crisp" and "The Three Musketeers" and its sequel "The Man in the Iron Mask", as well as over two hundred plays. Whose father was Napoleon's general. The author was the administrator of a 197-skilled nursing care facility in Hancock, Michigan, for 35 years before retiring in 1991. He is a graduate engineer, having completed his studies at Michigan Technological University and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he holds the rank of Major. His first work was a mystery novel, Breakthru, followed by another Breakthru, which was published in 1990.


After that he wrote these short stories and poems for his own pleasure of writing. Since then he have written two novels; A Few Fruits and an Onion - a murder mystery, thriller, comedy; and Frozen Solid, about an abused woman who is redeemed by attempting to save the world, which sustains serious devastation. He has also written over a dozen short stories. This book is written a way so as to encourage parents to read to their kids for a healthy relationship.
