Miss Kristie is an educator, author, and licensed acupuncturist with over 25 years of experience working with children and teens across academic, creative, and wellness settings. She holds a Master's in Teaching, a Master's in Chinese Medicine, and multiple teaching credentials in the state of California. Kristie has taught a wide range of subjects including Health, Physical Education, General Science, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and is currently a Developmental Interventionist specializing in social-emotional growth and confidence-building through DIR Floortime techniques. She also works under the title "Capacity Advocate," emphasizing strength-based approaches to learning and development. As the creator of Caticorns Galore, Kristie blends character education, music, art, and storytelling to help young learners explore kindness, responsibility, and self-expression in joyful, imaginative ways. Her books support literacy and emotional intelligence through structured coloring prompts, guided reflection, and interactive songs. In addition to the sing-along series, she is the author of the Rewire55 journal series for adults and teens, focused on habit formation, self-worth, and digital detox strategies. Kristie is the founder of Bokkai, a creative publishing project that combines eastern and western approaches to personal development.
She is also developing DotLingo, a multilingual learning series that builds early language and communication skills.
