Obed OlivarrÃa was born in Mexicali, Mexico and grew up as a bicultural, transnational citizen with a love for storytelling, music, and adventure. A city-wide short story competition in high school sparked his passion for writing, leading him to create books that both entertain and inspire. Over the years, he's worked as a pastor, graphic designer, session musician, ministry consultant, and university dean, and now serves as a school psychologist in Orange County, California. With a background that spans pre-K to university education, Obed brings depth and insight to his work. He lives with his wife and two energetic children and dreams of visiting every country in the world-always seeking new stories to tell.
