Since working with elementary students for the past several years, I know how important it is to make learning fun and engaging for little people. My books are designed to spark parent-child conversations on topics like gratitude, self-esteem, charity and forgiveness, as well as ignite imaginations through vibrant, whimsical illustrations crafted in a variety of mixed media. My goal is to encourage strong family bonds by providing children with creative ways to learn through discussions about relationships, feelings and faith, while helping them feel loved, valued and appreciated. In 2018, I began to write children's books and taught myself how to paint while undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Since retiring in 2020 from Costco, I serve as a volunteer Sunday school teacher in the Inland Northwest at my local church alongside my husband, where our family has attended since 2006. I pray my storybooks provide kids encouragement and direction the world over for generations to come, all while introducing them to the Christian faith and the joys of reading.
