Who rescued who? When a hiker is missing, former military police officer Hudson Cross doesn't hesitate to volunteer to join in the search and rescue--along with his loyal K9 partner, Bonnie. Hudson needs a sense of purpose in his new civilian life--and finding Georgia Gallagher might be just the ticket. Georgia, mourning the death of her sister, is lost on more than just the trail, but Hudson makes her feel safe, warm, and protected--not to mention other feelings she'd love to explore. Both of them were brave in adversity; all they need now is the courage to open their hearts to love.
