This book was originally prepared as a sequel to American Nyes of English Origin, Volume I that covered the first eight generations of Benjamin Nye. Benjamin was born in England around 1620. Volume II presents all the information that has been made available on the ninth through twelfth generation descendants of Benjamin Nye as of the original publication date in 1980. It also includes some information on the fifth through eighth generations, which had not been received when Volume I went to press in 1977. Please note: Volume II, as of this printing, is now broken into Volume IIA (which details the ninth generation), and Volume IIB (which represents the remainder).
